Planeta mujer is a virtual space to promote gender equality and empowerment of women and gender identities not heteronormative. We try to achieve that by sharing news, topics and information related to gender matters and offering virtual courses as strategic education. Through these tools we aim to contribute and make a real impact on people´s lives, eliminating stereotypes and labels that become oppressive, that discriminate and constrain to individuals, all grounded on a patriarcal hetero-normative system.
The traditional gender roles are many of the labels that are part of the structures of a system that only benefits to a reduced powerful circle.
Let´s deconstruct not just these gender labels, but all of the existent!

Transforming ideas into reality...
Planeta Mujer is a virtual space to share information and to offer courses based on a multi-feminist, multi-inclusive, multi-plural and multi-dimentional platform that aims to create a critic thinking and self-awareness on individuals so they are able to conquer lost spaces or spaces not yet conquered, to view the invisible and to deconstruct labels and roles based on gender, origin, race, class, identity and sexual orientation, etc.
Through the creation, implementation and design of an educative and technological curriculum, our courses aim to be strategic in the lives of our students, so they are able to create real impacts on their lives. Through our courses we look for a person to:
- Be aware of her/his position and conditions based on the values and power relations implemented by our universal and patriarcal system, to recognize their strengths and weaknesses,
- To acknowledge and deconstruct the existence of such values implemented by sutil or hidden costumes, symbols and meanings that just limit and obstacle the autonomous development of an individual
- To know the skills, abilities and knowledge the individual already has and to explore the ones that she/he is able to acquire and develop in order to stop the reproduction of her/his limitations and at the same time expecting this knowledge will evolve as a legacy to new generations.
We strongly believe the more aware we are of our own position and condition on the power and resources distribution structures, the better we are able to build a change in our lives getting certain and comprehensive information, learning new skills and spreading our knowledge on what we are and we want to become. Every option must be for everybody!
